Beverly D. Clyburn

Beverly was not only an excellent Science teacher at Martha Schofield High School but an even better person in life. You had a tremendous impact on my life. I will always cherish our friendship. Thanks for a life well lived and the impact you had on all of us who had the privilege and pleasure to know you.

Daisy Crawford, Carolyn Wharton Bonner, Mae Verna Jackson Welch and Willie Canty are Alumnae of Allen University. We are praying, expressing and sharing college memories of you, Thelma and Clyburn. We are in sympathy with Clyburn, your children, other relatives and friends. We remember you, 'Bev' as a precious 'Blooming Flower'.

We have memories of her kindness,her wisdom,and the countless lives she touched. Her legacy will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her ,and her spirit will be remembered fondly in the stories we share and the lessons she imparted.

The world has lost a very special person with the passing of Mrs. Clyburn. I had the pleasure of being taught biology by Mrs. Clyburn. Her influence extended beyond the classroom. My choice to become a pharmacist was inspired by the love of science she instilled in me. I'm sure many others have similar stories. She will be missed. Wendie Perry Cadle
