Beverly N. Devroye, 64, of Caseville, died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2007 at Bay Medical Center in Bay City after a long illness.

Beverly was born Oct. 31, 1943 in Bad Axe to the late Arnold and Hazel (Nutt) Spencer. She graduated in the first class from Caseville High School in 1961. On Sept. 8, 1962 she married James R. Devroye of Caseville at the Caseville Methodist Church.

She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, homemaking and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband Jim; daughter, Mary and her husband, Doug Ziel of Caseville; and son, Michael and his wife, Janet, of Pigeon; grandsons, Justin and Tyler of Pigeon; brothers, Dwain (Dorie) Nutt of Roscommon and Gary (Kathie) Spencer of Essexville; and sister, Marilyn (Wayne) Bradbury of Kawkawlin; and her mother-in-law, Mary Maillette of Caseville.

Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 4, 2008 at the Champagne Funeral Chapel of Caseville. There will be a private burial at Caseville Township Cemetery.
