I remember staying after school at the SDA Academy and helping her clean the school. All of you kids helped her everyday. And my sisters and I would help until our ride came to pick us up. It was fun learning how to use the floor buffer LOL. She was a great lady and will be missed. Many prayers for the whole family.

To All Her Grieving Loved Ones,
I have so many wonderful memories of Mrs. DeYoung _ from church, at school and the times spent at your home. She loved the Lord and passed that on to her children. She was so industrious and such a devoted mother and a person of character who always rose to the occasion. And talk about spunky! What fun it was to laugh with her. Truly she was an inspiration!!!
I respect and admired her more than mere words can say and can honestly say that I am blessed...

Jamie and family, We never had the pleasure of meeting your mother but was able to see the wonderful relationships she built with friends and family through Facebook. Her greatest accomplishment was raising children who love the Lord and others with a happy selflessness! May you feel the Love of Christ strengthen you during this difficult time.
