I am very sorry to find out about Gene's passing.He was one of my instructors in A/P school and I took both of my O & P tests from him in Round Rock, TX. I learned as much about life as I did airplanes from him and that was a lot. I offer my condolences to his wife and family - he will be missed.

We have nothing but good memories of Gene. I First met him in the early 60's at an aviation event in St Petersburg. He later moved to Lakeland and helped to start Sun 'n Fun and was the first announcer at the Sun 'n Fun event. A good man. We will miss him.
