Beverly Foote

So sorry for your loss. Beverly was a wonderful neighbor who helped educate me on the names of my flowers. She had a wonderful smile and I always enjoyed visiting with her.

She was my chemistry teacher at EIU - my mother also attended EIU and had the same chemistry class I had with Dr Foote on the first day my freshman year I sat there next to my mother in the classroom, as I was taking note of the cute girls in class Dr Foote announced to the classroom that there was a mother son duo in the classroom and proceeded to ask me to stand up and introduce my mom, was an embarrassing yet proud moment right there in front of all my potential new girlfriends and all...

Beverly was my neighbor and friend. We had many long talks as she stopped on her way past my house on her walks, or we would sit on my porch and chat about all sorts of things. She had such a curiosity and sense of humor. I was so sad to hear of her passing. I'll miss her smile and her laugh. I feel blessed to have known her.
