Not sure what to say?

The Horton Family;

It was not long ago - not even a month - I was making cookies. For some reason, Girl Scout days, crossed my mind. I smiled, to myself, as I scooped the dough, thinking of the wonderful times I had with Bev Horton in her kitchen -making cookies, making meat loaf - just being a little girl. I distinctly remember her laugh during those "meetings". I am truly blessed to have had her as a mentor.

My thoughts are with you during this time.

I am so sorry I was in Texas last week and unable to attend the service for Bev...she was a very special friend and PEO sister, and I am greatful I was able to have a good visit with her earlier this year. Marilynn K. Short

Thank you to all of Mrs. Horton's family and friends for your most generous donations to the Girl Scouts. Our thoughts are with you during this time of sorrow.

Sincerely, Pam Czyz, Development Director, Girl Scouts of the Sierra Nevada Chapter of Girl Scouts of the USA.

Sincere sympathy in this time of sorrow. Frank & Jo Reeves

We have lost a towering example of a compassionate mother and wife and intuitive friend. Beverly had the best qualities of the generations that forged Nevada out of dusty zephyrs into loving hearths and home. A beautiful soul helper with tireless humor a boy growing up could not ask for a better aunt. this princess of the desert has gone to her great reward. God bless you Beverly.

Bob, Sorry to hear of Bev's passing our thoughts and condolences are with you and your family.

Dear Bob and Dr. Horton, I am so sorry about Bev's passing. What a fantastic woman! She is now enjoying the company of Auntie Betty and Elizabeth Carpenter Riker(my mom). I know Elizabeth thought the world of Bev when they worked together during the AAIME women's association days. Ann Burgess

Bob, Debi, Robin & Cindy
Our family won't be the same with the love and care that Aunt Bev gave us. She always made the holidays the best ever.
We love you and stay strong.
