Beverly K. Jasper, aged 69, of Bernard, Iowa, and formerly of Farley, Iowa, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born on July 31, 1955, to Robert and Milie (Hoefer) Bell, Bev was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Bev attended grade school at St. Joseph’s and graduated from Western Dubuque High School. She later pursued an associates degree in business, which led to a fulfilling career with Medical Associates, where she formed a close-knit family of friends. Bev was a dedicated stay-at-home mom before working for Ertl’s for over 15 years.
On June 15, 1974, Bev married Dave Jasper at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Farley, Iowa. Together, they built a beautiful family and life. Bev was known for her exceptional pie-making skills, bringing joy to family gatherings with her delicious creations.
Bev was an avid supporter of her family’s activities, from dance recitals to go-kart races, and enjoyed tractor rides with family and friends. She was a member of the Rivers & Bluff Tractor Club and supported Midwest Pride in your Ride.
Bev is survived by her devoted husband, Dave Jasper, and their children, Jenny (Rayen) Davis, Brian Jasper, Rodney Jasper, and Crystal (Nick) Simon, along with seven grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings and in-laws, who will all miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, a brother-in-law, and a nephew.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. on Monday, November 25, 2024, at the Reiff Funeral Home in Farley, Iowa, with a prayer service at 1:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Garryowen, Iowa, followed by burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
Bev’s family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Hospice of Dubuque, Dr. Eric Engelman and his team, and Reiff Funeral Home for their compassionate care and support.
