JONES, Beverly D. - Of Flint, age 79, died Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at Kith Haven Nursing Home. Funeral service will be held at 12 noon Friday, September 9, 2011 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Emeritus Berniece A. Matejcek officiating. Cremation will take place following the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation. Visitation 10 a.m. Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Beverly was born in Flint, Michigan on November 20, 1931. On December 27, 1997 she married Norman Jones in Flint. She was Past President and a life member of V.F.W. Chevrolet Post 3087 Auxiliary and was a member of Fisher Body American Legion Auxiliary. Surviving are husband, Norm; son, Don Geren of Burton; granddaughter, Carolyn and husband Allen Sheltraw of Swartz Creek; two great-grandchildren, Samantha and Cody; two brothers, Bob Kilbourne of Swartz Creek, Jack and wife Mona Kilbourne of Florida.
