Not sure what to say?

To all of Bev's family, I was so sad to hear of Bev's passing. I have known Bev since we were children and she was always one of my dearest friends. The world will miss her. Please know my prayers and sympathy are with you all.

Bev was a great friend of mine from our work days at West Ridge. She will be truly missed. Great lady. My prayers are sent to Dave & her family. Rest in peace my good friend. God Bless.

I had the pleasure to know Bev for several years at SNF and became close over the last couple of years she was still in Florida. She shared her extreme talent in stained glass and helped me a great deal. To know Bev was to love her. I enjoyed our one on one visits and many talks on politics. Thankfully we were on the same page so for Bev I will try to help make her wishes come true.

Bev was a very strong, person throughout her illness. She was admirable and upbeat in how well she prepared for this event. We talked frequently on the phone discussing politics, which she was really into. Now, maybe she can pull some strings for her candidate.

We are sorry we cannot be there in person now to express our sympathies to David, Todd, Doug and Mike. Our prayers are for her and you all.

JoAnn & "Uncle" Dave Whelehan

To the Whelehan family and Dave, May the love from family and friends help you through such a great loss in your life. I am so sorry.

Bev was a good long-time friend since high school days at Greece Olympia. I treasured her friendship over the years, enjoyed meeting up with her in Sarasota, here with me in Ft Myers (she was visiting when Hurricane Charlie came thriugh!) and earlier in the Bahamas. Lately it was only by phone when she had returned to Rochester but we were still able to chat and laugh. I will truly miss her and send sincere condolences to Todd, Doug, Michael and Dave.

I grew up across the street from Bev on Whelehan Drive. For years babysitting on weekend evenings for the boys! Then we would sit around and talk, sometimes for hours. She was so funny and we would share many laughs. I loved being at her house. Bev adored her boys and she would tell me I was the daughter she never had! I went on a few family vacations to act as the babysitter too, but felt like I was on vacation with the rest of them. A truly wonderful person that I will always remember...

Dave,
Although we are unable to be with you to share your loss, please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. The memories of our good times together are ever lasting and may they be of comfort to you during this difficult time. Bev was a wonderful lady and we will miss her deeply.

I will always remember when Bev and I were in our teens and had such good summers in Cape Vincent. My mother thought of her as a second daughter. She was someone I will miss greatly. This summer at the Cape will not be the same without her.
