I was saddened to learn of Dr. Morgan's death. I had the pleasure of working with her in the Department of Pediatrics at UCI. What I remember most is her love of teaching. Even though she was no longer able to stand and give lectures, she would have the residents and/or medical students (only 2-3 at a time) come to her office where she would sit with them on her sofa, showing slides and discussing her chosen topic of the day. I often wondered if those residents and/or medical students knew...
