Beverly Popovitch, age 64, of Stockbridge died November 19, 2003. She retired from Delta Airlines in 1996 and was the past president of The North Henry Friendship Club.

Mrs. Popovitch was diagnosed with Alzheimers six years ago and had been a resident of Dogwood Forest Assisted Living in Stockbridge since 2002.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Florence & Charles Sabo and daughter, Janet Popovitch.

Surviving are her husband, William Popovitch; daughter, Sherri Popovitch Nadeau of Potomac Falls, VA; son, Jim Popovitch of Atlanta, GA.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 23, 2003 at the Chapel of Cannon-Cleveland Funeral Directors. Interment at Fairview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Avenue, Suite 1700, Chicago, IL 60601.

The reappearance of this guest book in my email after 17 years seems so poignant. I remember Beverly and Bill with such love. We visited them before and after Beverly got sick in their home. We briefly glimpsed Bill's struggles, trying to give Beverly the best care possible.
