Beverly had excellent secretarial skills with rapid typing and shorthand abilities, which she utilized in various positions. She also enjoyed sharing her organizational skills by holding positions with the Women's Club of Meadowbrook Country Club, and later the Braxton community of North Chesterfield, Va.
Beverly loved gardening, birdwatching, golfing, sewing, reading, and animals of all kinds, especially dogs. She loved the travel she was able to experience, which included many trips to golf courses with her husband and friends, England, Wales, points out west such as the Grand Canyon, Hawaii, cruising the inside passage to Alaska, driving the Alcan Highway and many annual trips to Duck, N.C. with a very special extended family, and many visits to Patterson Grove in Shickshinny with members of the Strunk family.
First and foremost, she was a wonderful wife and mother to her son and daughter. She always made them feel like her time with them was her favorite, and maintained a beautiful, welcoming, and loving home throughout her life.
