Bev was such a wonderful and caring wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all that met her, she truly never met a stranger. Bill and I treasured all the moments that we spent with them because there never was a dull one. Bev and Daddy John are reunited once more, I will forever miss them.

Bev was a great lady! She loved people and was always willing to assist in a work environment. She loved kids and gave a lot of herself to helping them. I have many fond memories of her! I enjoyed having Corey in my 6th grade class - hope he and his family are doing well. Please accept my condolences. Robin Kline

Miss Beverly, What a light you were to the staff and students at Sedalia Elementary School! I was blessed to work with you for 20+ years! You cared so much for the well-being of every student and staff member! YOU were always the first to roll up your sleeves to help with any activity...be it helping with reading groups, working with kids on a 1-1 basis to help them better understand a math concept, Field Day, a Cow's Eye Dissection, Pioneer Day, doctoring a scraped knee, or to just be available to listen to what was weighing on a child's mind! How many miles did you log patroling lunchroom duty, playground duty, bus duty, and just walking the halls to get from one end of the building to the other?! You have to know how much we all appreciated the support you gave to us on the staff, be it zeroxing, laminating (AND cutting it out without being asked to do so!), lending an extra pair of hands when we needed help, filing, or sharing jokes and recipes (your meatloaf was like no other!)! I loved it when I'd find out each year, that you would be assigned to my classroom for aide time! You were dependable, provided an extra set of eyes that often yielded a new perspective, and never failed to have a smile on your face! The Kids and I were so-o-o lucky to have YOU! Your light will continue to shine in each one of us, whose hearts and minds you touched! You will always be a "Sedalia Mustang!" But more than that, you were a vital community member, wife, mother, grandmother, and FRIEND! Be at peace, my friend! You've led a very full life! Love, Loretta Johnson
