Beverly and Frank took me in as a kid and taught me morals and values.
Billy Shaffer was my best friend.
Haven't talked to them in many years, but thought of with love and respect.
R.I.P. BEVERLY.

As I read all these beautiful and truthful words written about Mom Shoffner, it shows truely what kind of person she was. She will always be in my thoughts.

Mom and Pop, Thank-you so much for giving me a special gift. One of the happiest times of my life was sharing a dream. Two people and all of us kids building a dream out of a ranch. I'll never forget the summer we all worked so hard for a bunch of kids I never even met; and one of the greatest things I ever did for someone else. Mom I'm comforted knowing you are over there on the other side waiting to lead the way as you did here in life! I love you.

Dear Shoffner Family,
My heart is with you all. I would like to say "Thank You" to Mom & Pop Shoffner for the 3.5 years at Green Pastures. I arrived at Green Pastures a young, troubled, misunderstood teenager. Through their dedication, caring and guidance I would not be the man I am today.
What an amazing people you are..

Dear Frank, Wendy, Mike and Judy. I just received word about Bev and I am so very sorry for your loss. Some of my happiest times were when I worked as Bev's secretary. She was a tough cookie with a heart of gold. I learned so much from her and for that I thank her. She molded so many young peoples lives and for that I know her wings were waiting at the door for her. So sorry that I missed her when she was in Reno a few years ago before my move out here to the east coast. My thoughts and...
