Most people have a few mentors in their lives. I wouldn't be where I am today without Bev's guidance. She asked if I would do room-to-room visits at her care center (probably 20 years ago) and I'm still there. Now a chaplain with Nursing Home Ministries, complete with a dog to round out visits. Bev was my favorite neighbor lady and my best friend’s mom. She was our campfire girls leader too. She was so fun to be around and her laugh was infectious. I remember one year for Jayne’s birthday Bev let her eat the cake batter. She was just so fun to be around and she was a positive influence to me during my childhood. My sincere condolences to her family. She will be missed.
