Beverly A. Sturgill

Beverly A. Sturgill "Bev" Beverly A. "Bev" Sturgill, age 66, of Lewisville, PA, passed away Monday, October 7, 2013. Born in Wilmington, DE, on April 17, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Gerald R. and Jean Conard Kennedy. Mrs. Sturgill was a homemaker. A loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she enjoyed reading, crafts, crocheting, quilting, needlepoint and traveling. Survivors include her husband of 48 years, William B. "Bill" Sturgill, Sr.; children, Renee Miller (Gregg), Lewisville, PA, and Billy Sturgill, Jr., Kelton, PA; Kyle Crouse, who was like a son to her; grandchildren, William B., III and Norajean Sturgill and Andrew and Brianna Miller; siblings, Ted Kennedy (Lan), Kevin Kennedy and Sandra Harding (Kevin); and devoted caregiver, Sonya Francois. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sturgill was preceded in death by her brother, Tom Kennedy. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, October 10, 2013, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton St., Elkton, MD. Funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., Friday, October 11, at the funeral home. Interment in Sharps Cemetery, Fair Hill, MD, will follow the service.
