She was a phenomenal woman especially after taking care of her for some time, I came to know and love her and some of her best memories from her herself

My deepest sympathies to the family on the passing of their Mother and Grandmother. She was a beautiful woman inside and out. Beverly touched so many lives including mine through the years. The Lord is welcoming her and saying "welcome my child you did good! "He has a place where she will shine and help all her family and friends from above. I will be out of town for her funeral but I send my sympathy to all her family and my prayers. My memories go back many years. I still make recipes she taught me to make at a prayer group at her house. I shared time with workshops for Preschool religious for the diocese.I...

As a former teacher at Independence High School, I came to love and admire Beverly and her children. She was such a support of the teachers and for me in many ways. I offer my sincere sympathy for your loss and will always remember your mother with fondness.

In 1994 Beverly nailed me the St Francis prayer at Christmas. I put the prayer on my refrigerator. In June 1995 my first born , my son tragically died at the age of twenty two. I was angry and lost. One day as I wondered my house in deep despair I saw Beverly's poem lying on my kitchen counter. I read the words , "to be consoled.". I thought," that is what I need, to be consoled.". I paused and reread the prayer and realized the prayer said,"grant that I may not so seek To be consoled as...

Ahhh... what a powerhouse of a woman. Not only was she incredibly beautiful on the outside but awesomely beautiful in her heart...I worked with Beverly decades ago in a Meals on Wheels program for the city of independence. She was a force to be reckoned with, and she was so darn talented. She took my daughter, Courtney, under her wing in her catering business and inspired her to a career in food services. Beverly always had time for others, placing them well ahead of herself or her own...
