VanScoder, Beverly E. - Of Grand Blanc, age 94, went to be with the Lord Friday, March 23, 2018 at Mission Point of Holly.
Funeral service will be held at 11am Monday, March 26, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Reverend Harold K. Polk Jr. officiating.
Burial in Glen Eden Cemetery in Livonia, Michigan.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association.
Visitation 2-8pm Sunday and 10am Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Beverly was born in Detroit, Michigan on September 23, 1923, the daughter of the late Lena Heath. On April 14, 1945 she married Merlin VanScoder and he preceded her in death on July 27, 2012. She was employed with Ford Motor Company for 26 years as an Executive Secretary. Beverly enjoyed 25 years of retirement with her husband.
Surviving are children, Sandra (Don) Walter, Gayle (Dennis) Glenon;
grandchildren, Kandis (Tony) Pappadakis, Jeff (Renee) Walter, Melissa (Alex) deJong and Dennis Glenon II;
5 great-grandchildren, Brandon, Alysa, Alayna, Nicholas, and Zachary;
2 great-great grandchildren, Bryson and Alexina.
She was also preceded in death by brother, Edsel Heath.
