I´ll always remember Bev as someone with a spirit that shined brighter than any hardship. When she came to visit me here in Italy, despite spending so much of her time in the hospital, she never let that stop her. Her strength, her light-heartedness, and her beautiful smile were always present.
Bev was determined to embrace every moment-she even learned Italian and managed to win over everyone she met. That was her magic: no matter the circumstances, Bev had this way of connecting with people, of making them feel at ease, like they had known her forever.
To me, she wasn´t just a host sister; she was family. The memories of our time together, her laughter, her warmth, and her incredible spirit will stay with me always.
Ciao, Bev. Grazie per aver lasciato un pezzetto del tuo cuore qui con noi.
