Beverly A. Zech

Beverly A. Zech, 74, Salina, passed away Friday, October 5, 2012 at Hospice of Salina. She was born on December 5, 1937 in Muskogee, OK to Clifford and Thelma Welch. She was a loving wife and mother always placing her families needs above her own. Family moved to Salina in 1966 where she enjoyed being a child care provider, a CB enthusiast, attending stock car races and riding Harley Davidsons with her husband. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents and a brother; Bill Welch. Survivors include her husband; Kenneth, sons; Kenneth II and wife Janet Zech, and Chris Zech, daughters; Lisa Zech, all of Salina and Shari Shields of Abilene, sisters; Twila Cerasari of Florida , Betty Rudy of Texas, Waunita Burton of Baldwin and Wanda Lou Brumit of Ottawa, five grandchildren; Illya Crawford, Aimee Sturm, William Mencanin III and friend Abby Giersch, Jason Thompson and wife Jennifer, Heather Shields and eight great-grandchildren; Sophina, Justin, Issac, Bailey, Ashlynn, Mia, Billy IV and Ellie. Visitation will be Thursday, Oct. 11th from 1pm to 7pm, with family receiving friends from 5pm to 7pm at Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel, 1920 E. Crawford, Salina 67401. The funeral service will be at 2 pm Friday, Oct. 12 at the chapel.
