The Ziomek´s were certainly Amherst Treasures, so hard-working, principled and compassionate. No doubt Stan worked very hard for the town, but I can´t imagine Mrs. Ziomek overseeing six boys! Just amazing what women did back in the day, so capable. The Amherst community was so lucky to have folks like the Ziomek´s, as well as many other wonderful townie families, and a reminder to all of us how fortunate are/ we were to have grown up in Amherst.
