Not sure what to say?

I remember my uncle Pete, as a young adult while serving in the army stationed at Fort Bliss, texas. Pete came to visit me at Fort Bliss, in full dress uniform. I was aware of uncle Pete's battle field commission while serving his country during WWII. Needless to say I was extremly proud of uncle Pete, as was the entire Petrello family. God bless you uncle Pete, for the man that you were, and for what you the lasting memories you left for all of us. Your nephew Charlie.

Col. Petrello,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your years of dedicated service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army and USAR-especially during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Pete will always be in our hearts. Both he and Jo helped us...

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We had the privilege of visiting with Pete in April to honor his 50-year membership in the El Paso Five Points Lions Club. He was a genuinely caring gentleman, respected and admired by all who knew him.
