Not sure what to say?

Uncle Bibb:

Where do you start! Raised me almost like a son and was always behind me good or bad for the last 66 years. Love to Aunt Louise, Bitsey, Bibb, Jr. and their families.

I didn't know Mr. Allen very well but it was an honor to work for him. The first (and last) time he bought me lunch [Mr. Allen treated the runner who went to get his lunch fairly often] it was my birthday. I had been working for him for over a year at that point and I always thought that was special. That was also the first time he ever called me by name. He was a brilliant man and a joy to listen to. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Bibb,
I am so sorry about your father. It is very clear from the accomplishments listed in his obituary that he had a wonderful life and family.

Ann Rosser

I had known Bibb since we were teenagers. I knew him to be a man of great dignity, and he was one of the toughest, kindest, smartest, most diligent, most industrious, most honorable, and most respected of attorneys in Alabama. Other superlatives would apply to him equally as well. His memory will be revered by attorneys and his other friends and acquaintances for many generations to come. May God bless Bibb's family, and may he have eternal peace and happiness with God in heaven.

Bibb Allen: gentleman, esquire, Biblical scholar, wit and rascal. I shall miss his larger-than-life presence so much. My love to Louise and his family.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Mr. Allen's passing. It was an honor for me to know and work with him. He was truly a fine gentleman who will be greatly missed. My heartfelt thoughts and prayers to Mrs. Louise and the family in this loss.

As a young physician in 1980, I was represented by the distinguished Mr. Allen in the only malpractice allegation I have ever had. Upon receiving the directed verdict, I hugged him. Mr. Allen told me I was the only client who had ever done that! I will never forget his kindness. My deepest sympathy to his family.

Bibb Allen was a man of intergity and touched so many lives. Our thoughts and prayers are with Louise and family. Sue and Sam Reeder

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
