Nov. 27, 1967 - April 28, 2017 age 49, of Bessemer, formerly of Illinois, passed away on Friday, April 28, 2017. He was employed with BNSF Railroad for 23 years. He enjoyed riding his Harley and his off road vehicles. He also enjoyed shooting his guns, camping and reading up and studying history. He was a beloved husband and father and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his son, Jacob V. Barding, his parents, Leroy and Doris Barding and sister Paula Karrick. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Iva M. Barding; son, Brent D. Barding; brother, Daniel Barding and sister Susan Price. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 from 5 pm until 7 pm at the Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home in Hoover.
