Not sure what to say?

A good man is gone. Memories live on of all the dinners, birthdays and baseball games we shared, I feel like I hit a homerun when Bill Barnes became my friend.

Governor,
I hope you and your family are going through a bit of a time but I will keep y'all in my prayers.

Thanks for your great friendship.

Eric

Roy,

God Bless You and your family. He is with God now and will be looking down upon you every day.

I had known Mr. Barnes as a child when my daddy would buy from his store, then years later I met him again thru my husband who sold trucks to him. They were great friends and he will surely be missed by us both. Even though he didn't buy alot in the last year or so my husband and Mr. Barnes would talk on the phone. He was a great man and we loved to talk with him and listen to his stories when we would get together and visit sometimes. Much love to the family during your time of grief.

We will always remember Uncle Bills joking around and all those summers we spent with him in Silverhill and up at the store.

We loved him dearly and he will be missed along with Aunt Tightsy

I'll always remember the times playing with Ashley and Jason and enjoying a brown cow at Papa's. I will definitely miss him as though he was one of my own grandfathers. I'm very blessed to have had him and your family in my life. Your family is in my heart and prayers.

In the late 50’s, when my dad, Clent Boling, was delivering eggs, a young Roy Barnes stood behind the meat counter and proclaimed, “I’m going to be governor some day.” Whether doing business at a...

"Comfort Ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. Isaiah 40:1

God has a power to send comfort, to the heart like no one else. He sends those precious memories that will linger and over in the midnight will flood our mind and souls from time to time. I believe those are the just, pure and whatsoever things that are, of a good report will bring happiness and comfort to the heart at this time. Think on those things as the scripture has instructed us to do.

Be Blessed...

I can remember back years ago sometime around 1935 or 36 when Mr. Barnes went to my brother and helped to saved my grandpa estate.

Roy, Ray Tommy and families my family and I send our love and condolence.
