Not sure what to say?

I worked for Bill at the restaurant in 1969 and 1970. He was a great poker player and let me watch a big game upstairs. In the game was among others Amarillo Slim and Bobby Baldwin, both who eventually won the World Series of Poker. Baldwin pushed all of his chips in on a possible straight in 5 card stud. One guy kept saying your bluffing but didn't call. Baldwin then coolly turn his cards over and raked in the cash! Awesome.

Bill's made the best sandwich I have ever eaten. I am looking for someone who can tell me how they made it. [email protected]

I worked for Bill at Washington Street Grill in the early 90s. He was a great person to work for! I always had so much fun working there. A kind soul.. I am sad to hear about his passing.

I worked for Bill from 1989-1992 during college. He was the best boss a person could ever have! He even closed down his whole business at "The Washington Street Bar and Grill" at his own expense to sponsor my wedding reception and made all the food himself! He paid employees in cash or food, whichever they needed and never thought twice about giving in anyone's time of need. I have never met a more generous, thoughtful human being. I will miss you Bill, you dear, sweet man. Heaven is so...

Bill was more than an employer, he was a friend & father figure to so many. Bill didn't just care if you were at work on time, Bill cared if you had lunch money & a smile on your face! He was and will always be remembered as one of Stillwater's greatest treasures!

I also worked for Bill in the early 90's. I enjoyed sharing stories with him on Saturday afternoons at the bar while setting up for the day. He was a kind and gererous employer.

I, too, worked for Bill at Willie's. He was funny and always kept you on your toes. I believe you can gauge a man by the way he treats his employees, and Bill was one of the best. -Lynn Parks Choplin

I worked for Bill at Willie's back in the early '90s. He was indeed a kind man and a colorful character!

i remember bill with fond memories ,as we were classmates in mason in the fiftys.
