Not sure what to say?

Bill, I hardly knew thee and yet you changed the course of my life, as you did by inspiring countless others. I believe that God sent you to be a disciple among us and now he has called you to receive your reward for doing his work. May we all be blessed with your presence again some day.

Student--Cardinal Newman Class of 1970

Bill, knew you from Cardnal Newman. May you rest in peace.

My deepest sympathy to the family of Bill Brooks. Forgive my tardiness, but I just found out about his death in the "Florida Irish American" publication. I knew him as Father Brooks at Cardinal Newman High Schhol in l972. I went to talk to him about getting married, and he graciously offered to perform the ceremony. Broadcasting is jokingly referred to as a business populated by C students. In the case of Bill Brooks, he was A+, honor roll. His natural curiosity, integrity, competitiveness and honor set him apart. WPTV was number one because it was run by the best operator in the market. I will miss him as a broadcast professional and a friend.

Martha, how you must miss your beloved Bill. I heard about Bill's passing from Margie. I loved his sense of humor when I met him at your home several years ago. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and the family and friends. It appears Bill was much loved and respected by all who knew him. Linda & Johneric in NH

There may not be a picture of Bill Brooks in the dictionary next to the definition of "mensch," but there ought to be. In his long and distinguished service to this community, he gave a human face to concepts like integrity, compassion, warmth and class.

Martha, I know how hard this must be for you. I also know, your strong faith will keep you even closer to the Lord.
May your beloved husband Bill rest in peace.
Long Time Friend,

Insightful, brutally honest with a unique sense of humor. He gave so much to all of us and will be sorely missed.
Shalom, my friend.
