I remember when we were at Milam (in '67) how the gang would hang out at your house; your parent's always welcomed everyone in their home. I have many fond memories Chris. My thought's and prayer's are with you and your family. Rest In Peace, Mr. Burns.

BILL BURN WAS VERY APPRECIATED BY OUR FAMILY WORDS ACTIONS COULDNT BE ENOUGH TO DESCRIBE HOW GREAT HE WAS AND HOW MUCH HE HELP OUR FAMILY BUT WE WILL CONTINUE TAKING CARE OF THE LAND WE GRANTED MY FAMILY TO TAKE CARE OF MAY GOD BLESS HIS FAMILY

Mr. Burns always commented on the kindness of my dad in past years. We have always appreciated the kindness that he has shown to us in farming his land in Raymondville. He will be greatly missed. We offer our sympathy to his family at this time.

A small space cannot do justice to such a large man. He tried to keep a rather low profile to protect himself, but those who he touched certainly know well his intellect, courage, tenacity, vision, insight, judgment, honesty and sense-of-humor. I am proud to count myself among the many persons who were benefactors of his skills, his generosity and his loyalty.

I will miss Bill. I really enjoyed reading his book and looking at all his wildlife photography. Our deepest condolences to all of the Burns family.
