Read MoreI was reflecting on my guitar journey today and was thinking about Bill, my teacher in the early 2000s. After a quick web search, I'm saddened to learn of his passing in 2018. He was a wonderful teacher and great person.

Happy to say I had the chance to study classical guitar with Bill. He was a great teacher and so much fun. That obit on him is no exaggeration. Bill was a riot. I had never had a classical guitar instructor before and he is NOT what I was expecting! What an awesome surprise that he was such a talented musician and teacher and so darn cool. I learned a lot in the brief time I was able to take lessons from him. Just one of those rare people that you encounter that really stick with you. ...

Bill was first my teacher and then one of my best friends. I will always remember the many, often silly, hours our families spent together. I loved him like a brother.
