Remembering Father Bill Dalton

July 17, 1933-March 22, 2017
By Sandra Olivetti Martin

With Bill Dalton's death, I feel cut adrift in eternity, for he was my anchor.

In half a century, we met only a handful of times. But after the death of his dear mother Virginia, Bill and his brother Michael were the people who knew me longest. Bill kept in touch after my visit to Dallas a decade or so ago. His Facebook notes and photos were a lifeline to times...

Only today did I learn of Father Bill's death. This was sad news. Father Bill was a kind and gentle man. He will be missed by many. My condolences to his family.

My heart is rejoicing knowing that Father Bill is in heaven setting at the right hand of our savior. You will be greatly missed here on earth but we will see you again! My thoughts and prayers are with Charlene and the rest of the family.

you will be missed

Bill has been a special friend since the first day I met him. I will miss his advice and friendship. We will be out of town next week but know our thoughts and prayers will be with you Charlene, Kim, and the rest of your family.
