Bill Deming

We were saddened by the passing of Bill. He was our pastor and chaplin while we lived in Huntington Beach. He watched our kids grow up and baptized both of them. I know God is enjoying Bill's wonderful smile.

We knew Bill for many years and were saddened by his passing. We look forward to seeing him again in heaven. Bill was our pastor at Calvary Baptist Chruch and our Chaplin through several surgeries Diana had at Fountain Valley Hospital.

'Chaplain Bill' was a friend and inspiration to all the firefighters, paramedics and emergency workers who frequented Fountain Valley Hospital. He was always so concerned about how we were holding up under the stresses of our job, and always praying for us, when , in fact, he was the one who had the hard job having to deal with the families of those patients we brought into the emergency room. I know that the Lord greeted Bill with the words: "Well done, thou good and faithful servant".

Pastor Bill came to see my mom when she was dying in the hospital. I will never forget the time he took with her and my dad and asked if they would like to pray with him.
He would drop in from time to time just to say hi.
He stopped by that morning like he know it was going to be today. The smile on his face told me she will not be in pain much longer. He touch her hand and said good bye and God Bless and left.

We were shocked to read about Bill's sudden passing.Peg and I often spoke about Bill and his effect on our family through the years. He will certainly be missed by many.Our thoughts go out to you Joann.

I met Bill Deming during my senior year at Biola University. One of his sons, Dan, lived in the next dorm room to mine.

I attended Calvary Baptist throughout my senior year and it was there that I met Bill and the rest of his family.

Bill's energy, enthusiasm and passion for Jesus Christ never, ever wavered. He was always upbeat, positive and made everyone feel welcome, accepted and loved.

He was a true inspiration to all that met him and he wanted everyone to know and...

My thoughts and prayers go out to Joanne and the kids. Although I grew up at Calvary Baptist Church and Pastor Deming performed my wedding ceremony, it was during the death of my mother that I will never forget the kindness Pastor Deming extended to my family and me. He made the difficult decisions we were faced with at that time nearly bearable. He was a special person to so many.

Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this very sad time. But know also, that our Lord is rejoicing that one of His own ia now resting in His loving arms. Pastor Bill was a shining example of how to love one another and truly walked the "walk". what a blessing and comfort he was to the de Leon Family in our most trying time. Hia passion for sharing God's love will always be remembered. May God continue to hold your family in His loving embrace.

Bill Deming – a man of conviction, compassion, sincerity and enthusiasm. He was an example to others. I have no doubt he is rejoicing exceedingly with Jesus Christ in heaven. My prayers are with his family.
