Not sure what to say?

Salma:

Salma, as you know, Bill Davis Ewing was named in my honor by his mother, Nan, my sister. We have always been drawn to one another much closer than nephew and uncle. We are so thankful to the good Lord for allowing us to spend so many pleasant times with you and Billy. May God rest his good soul and give you peace in having enjoyed his great love for you. We love you, Bill and Wanda

Bill and I worked together for many years and developed a lasting relationship. He was always cheerful and always willing to help anyone in any way he could. We remained friends after our working relationship ended. We continued to stay in contact over the years. Salma...may GOD bless you and your family. I will be praying for you.

Salma, I was very saddened by the news of Bill's passing. As you know, Bill and I are distant cousins and even though we were also good friends in our school days, we lost touch after that but got back in touch during the past 3 years or so and enjoyed emailing each other back and forth. He may be gone, but will certainly not be forgotten by me. Keep in touch and my deepest sympathy goes out to you and your and Bill's family.

Bill was a very good friend and Marlene and I will miss him very much. When he lived in Irving, Texas we would visit him but lost touch with him when he moved. I was so glad that Bill and Salma could make it to the Oenaville reunion. To see him reminded me of the good old days we had when we lived in Oenaville.
God bless Bill and Salma's family.
I know I will miss him and feel sad that I never was able to visit him at his home.

Bill and I began a lifelong friendship while still young men. We worked hard, played hard and laughed even harder at ourselves and our many memories. Bill's greatest gift was his humor. He was a dear friend. I will miss our internet chats and occasional phone calls. God bless you Salma. You and your family remain in our prayers.

May God bless and sustain you Salma. Bill and I were best friends in high school. He saved my life several times and I am grateful for his friendship. We will all miss him terribly but he gave us a lot of good memories that will remain with us forever!

Bill Ewing and I were great friends growing up in Oenaville Texas and we were lucky that our paths crossed again recently over 40 years later. We had tons of fun together as kids and Bill was the same entertaining funny guy when I saw him last. I will miss this great ole Pal of mine very much indeed!!

We were both so saddened to hear of Bill's passing. His spirit will continue to live through all of us, his good friends with the retelling of every joke, story or words of wisdom he shared in past. Our thoughts are with you.
