Dear Kathy, Laurie, Margot and Mike,
I am truly sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. I will fondly remember him as a larger than life man. I loved seeing his jazz album lined walls in your pine clad rec room. You will miss him. I trust that memories of his conversations and music will stay in your hearts forever.
Love,
Anne Jacobsen

Dear Laurie, Kelly and Wil,
I have been out of the country and just returned today to learn of the passing of your dad Laurie. I am so sorry that I wasn't able to attend the wake and service. I only met your dad on a few occasions at CBC parties at the cottage, but those are very vivid memories of a time of fun and bonfires on the beach. I often think of your dad because his childhood home is in our neighbourhood. Please pass on my condolences to your mom.
Sincerely,
Rob...

Laurie please accept our sympathy for your family's loss. Cam
and I always enjoyed encounters with your Dad few as they were.
You will have so many happy memories to sustain you so your Dad will never be far away. Affectionately Shirley and Cam Gravelle

Many happy memories at the bay
Bill was a character and will be fondly remembered
Our deepest sympathies

Our deepest condolences to the Fagan family.

Uncle Bill introduced me to great jazz music at a time when all we were getting over at our house were the Irish Rovers, the Clancy Brothers, and Dean Martin! He had great taste in music, movies, and writing and he always kept you on your toes with his sharp mind. The last time I saw him was at a wake and he was cracking some very funny and memorable jokes. He was a good man and he left a wonderful legacy behind with his large and talented family. He will be missed. My John wants to express...

The first time Mike brought me to Ridgecrest, Bill was in the kitchen reading. He handed me the New Yorker, pointed out a cartoon, and waited for my reaction.

What a man of wit and knowledge. Bill read everything he could get his hands and could tell you what a country's industry is, it's history and politics.
If you flipped on a late night movie, Bill knew who was in it, who directed it, and more importantly if it was worth watching.
Bill loved to talk about EVERYTHING,...

Aunt Susan, Jim, Kathy, Margot and family, Laurie and family, Mike and family, Uncle Bill was a stand up guy and his presence on Ridgecrest and at Constance Bay will be greatly missed by all of you. Take comfort in your memories. Earliest memory of Uncle Bill was at the Lynch Family picnics at Vincent Massey; he was a very classy guy.
