Bill Claude "Oot Oot" Golding

An absolute treasure that you never saw without a smile on his face. My life is better simply b/c we connected. God Speed, Bill and my sincere condolences to his family.

I was SO sad to see the report of Mr. Golding's passing on WIS news this evening, but what a nice tribute! I first met him as a graduate audiology student at the VA in the late 70s. He was one of my first hearing aid fittings! I watched him evolve into the Worlds Greatest Gamecock Fan when he and his lovely wife came to the clinic over the years dressed from head to toe in Garnet and Black. He always made us smile and was always so positive. I am a better person to have known him. ...

Miss Gloria, you and Bill made Sarge Frye Field my home. Bill Never missed a chance to tell me to hustle. I'll miss his voice, his kindness, his presence. No one will ever be a bigger Gamecock fan than Bill. I love you all dearly. I will miss him terribly. Oot Oot! Go Gamecocks!

Miss Gloria we will be Praying for your comfort through this great loss. We had some great times with you guys for many years in the stadium campgrounds and trips to bowl games. Bill was a awesome guy and will be missed. Oot!Oot! Go Gamecocks!

Gloria, you are in my prayers and I am so thankful that I got to spend time at the ballgames with Mr. Bill. He was an encouragement and it was always nice to talk with both of you during the games. I will miss him greatly when I watch Carolina Baseball.
