Reluctantly I admit I have not communicated with Bill recently. I extend my heartfelt feelings of sadness and my sincere condolences to Bill's entire family. May God allow his soul to rest in peace. BILL WAS A VERY CLOSE FRIEND BEGINNING IN OUR YEARS AT CORNELL. AS SENIORS WE WERE EACH PRESIDENTS OF OUR FRATERNITIES. AND TRUE TO BILL'S SPIRIT WE USED THOSE POSITIONS TO FIGHT AGAINST RACIAL DISCRIMINATION. BILL WAS A KIND,THOUGHTFUL AND SOUL FULL PERSON. HE MADE LIFE BETTER FOR MANY PEOPLE IN HIS TIME. HE CERTAINLY HAD THAT EFFECT ON ME. I AM HAPPY WE HAD OUR TIMES TOGETHER AND WILL MISS HIM VERY MUCH.
