Not sure what to say?

The entire Hardesty family remains in my thoughts and prayers. Though we are far apart, miles cannot truly separate the love of family. I think of you often, and hope you are doing well. Uncle Bill will be missed. I love you all and would love to hear from you again.
Love, Holly (Hardesty) Johnson

You are all in our thoughts and prayers. The dear, great Bill Hardesty was truly a light in this world. I thank God for Bill's relationship with my dad - and for the relationships we have with his children and grandchildren.

What a jam session they're having now!

I met Mr. Hardesty only once, but was impressed with his sweet spirit. I Pray the family is comforted in that he will be waiting for them in Glory.

Shirley, Janet, and family, my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of sadness, grief and mourning. The comforting knowledge of knowing that Bill is home in Heaven will help, along with the love and support of your many family and friends. During the time I spent with you and your family, Bill always treated me well, and I can still recall hearing him practice many times in his practice room RV. Shirley, you and Bill are an inspiration to many - 62 years of marriage is a...

While I did not know Mr. Hardesty well, I knew of his contributions within the music world. He was a solid pillar and light in Peoria and beyond, and will not be forgotten.

When I was in High School, I caught all of the Bill Hardesty dances. I was a young musician idolizing this man. I even had his "walk" down to a science. I was never able to copy his trumpet playing as I'm a drummer. I formed my own band...The Ronnie Scott Orchestra. I, at times, was in need of a trumpet player. I called on Bill many times and was thrilled to actually have Bill sitting in my brass section. What a class act. The musicians, who knew him, will certainly miss his horn and his...

My prayers are with you all.

Mr. John Hardesty, I was sorry to hear about your dads passing. Ana Cooper is my daughter and you were such an amazing band teacher for her at Von Steuben. We just wanted to let you know we were thinking of you. Tammy, Mike and Ana Cooper

What a marvelous life! What a marvelous man! Thanks I give for the delight of my youth, Hardesty's music to which I danced at many Bradley U. events. Rest in peace.
