Condolences to Cheryl & family. Bill was principals at Hiawatha elementary school when I went there.

Tribute to a Good Man - "Crossing the Bar" - Tennyson's Poem I was just informed by my son, Pat Keef, that my good friend, Bill Hinchliff, had just crossed over the Bar of Life. So sorry for your loss.. Our Mom, Mildred Ellis Woodyard (taught with your Dad at Washtucna) and Dad Jim Woodyard would see your Dad and Mom at times.

Bill Hinchcliffe was one of the finest men I´ve ever known. He was my elementary principal at Jason Lee (4th through 6th grades). His friendship and leadership was one of the driving forces that steered me toward a 42 year career in education. I will always be grateful for his advice and guidance. There´s a problem with education today and that is simply there are not enough Mr. Hinchcliffe´s anymore. Rest easy, my friend. Mike Davis
