Not sure what to say?

Always in our memories, our Big Lake Brother, Bill! There was a toast posted on the back bar of The Call of the Wild that read; "Here's to you as good as you are. And to me as bad as I am. Because as good as you are, you're as bad as I am. And as bad as I am, I'm as good as you are. So here's to you as bad as you are, and here's to me, as good as I am." "The Call" is long since gone, as are Frank & Rosie. But the sentiment still lives on and I believe it's one that Bill, as well as...

Bill's memory lives on in the Johnson family. As the years pass it's down to my brother Lance and I. Sonia, Stephen & Chris Mooreman are still around and living on the East Coast & Canada. We had quite the crew on Long Island with the Hunsucks, Millers, Murry's, Hills, Kalnoskis, Harts, Mooremans, Lindahls, Wrights & Bagleys. We were a bit of a racus but it was always in good fun, and a good time was always had by all. I recall a time when Lance, my Dad & I all got Harleys together and Bill...

My brother Lance & I are deeply saddened by the loss of our childhood friend & "Big Lake Brother". As many have said, Bill was a great guy to be around. He was always positive and lived life to the fullest, every day. Whether it was snow machining, boating, motorcycle riding or just catchin' some rays, life was always good when you spent time with Bill! His spirit touched & brightened many lives and through the memories of the good times, he lives on. We offer our most sincere condolences to...

Pam and family - I was deeply saddened and shocked to learn of Bill's passing. I knew him since I was 9 years old and one of the first families I met after moving to Big Lake, pre-pipeline construction. Scott, Bill and Sean would ride their snow machines across the lake from Long Island to Ketchum's Lodge where we lived and would give us a lift down the long road to the bus stop. I was always so impressed with his can-do attitude and his let's get it done spirit. I relied on Bill heavily...

My deepest sympathies are with your family. I used to work with Bill, and enjoyed seeing him at various industry functions over the past few years. He always had a smile and was quick to show pictures of his grandkids. He was a kind man, and will be missed!

Pam & family. George, Justin & Sandy Hoffman are so very sorry for your loss. Bill was a wonderful man & we grieve for you.

The faculty and staff at Pacific Northern Academy are deeply saddened to hear of Bill's tragic passing. Our thoughts and our prayers are with you at this time of loss.

Condolences to all of the Hunsucks on behalf of the entire Martens family. Having grown up next door to Bill and Scott on Long Island we became close. I cannot express the loss I feel for Pam and the girls, Scott and Rebecka and all the rest of the family. My sister and myself feel as if we have lost a brother...Bill was always that person that people just wanted to be around. He was filled with energy and happiness. He will be greatly missed.....

I am sorry for your loss Pam. Diane Hanrahan told me about it. We found each other on facebook a couple of years ago. Almost every Pearl Harbor day I think of you. I wish we could have connected under better circumstances
