Not sure what to say?

My hearfelt condolences to Bill Lipton's family and and friends. I first met Bill in the early sixties as my mom and dad, Alfred and Florence Kessler were close friends of Bill's wonderful parents, Milt and Ruth. I remember evenings spent at the Liptons' home in West Long Branch when I was about 8 yrs old and vividly recall Bill and Beth together. They had just become engaged, and even though I was a young child, I could see how much they were in love with each other. Over the years I...

I met Bill through the First United Methodist Church (Ann Arbor) monthly Men's Group. We shared breakfast many times along with all sorts of conversation. My thoughts and prayers are with Beth and family.

Enjoyed working with "Dr. Bill". Helped me solve problems, whenever I asked. Sorry to hear of your passing.

My deepest condolences on your loss. Bill was a unique individual with a wry sense of humor. I was hired by Bill at Fermi in 1983 and have relied on his knowledge and experience during my tenure at the plant. He was in a sense an unofficial advisor when I was working on my Masters thesis. Once he retired it was a pleasure to see him at local professional meetings and we would catch up on events of day. I will always remember the kind man that he was. He will be missed. Wayne Ruttenberg

Hi Beth and Girls, I'm so sorry for your loss. I remember lots of fun during the girls scout and Abbot School days. Sending love and prayers at this difficult time. Maryann Fardig and Family

I worked with Bill at Fermi. He was truly a gilt to the radiation protection team. Extremely intelligent and willing to assist with anything asked, Bill was a pleasure to work with. I learned a great deal from him. I especially enjoyed his wry sense of humor!

Beth, i am so sorry. My heartfelt sympathy is with you and your daughters. Praying that you will find comfort and peace now and in the days to come.

I am very sorry to hear of Bill's passing. He was a good friend at work and with the local American Nuclear Society Section. We worked closely together for many years. He taught me the meaning of thoroughness, attention to detail and professionalism. My condolences and God Bless. Randall Westmoreland

Bill was a true asset to Fermi and a great guy to work with.
