Not sure what to say?

What more can anyone say that was not voiced last Sunday. There were as many smiles and laughs as tears for a sweetheart of a guy. Never a bad words from him. He was always positive. A REAL PEOPLE PERSON. We will ALL miss him. LOVE YOU MAN!!

Bev,
One thing that I forgot to say Sunday at Bill's memorial, was that each and every one of us there could have gone an entire lifetime without meeting someone like Bill. How truly blessed all of us were to have had Bill in our lives. Every time I think of him I will look up...because that is where he is!
Love,
karen

Dear Friends,
Danny and I were both shocked and saddened at the news of the loss of our friend and great musician Bill Main. We are both proud and pleased to have had the honor of being able to know him and work with him.
My fondest memories of Bill are sitting in the violin section across the pit from him for shows at PCLO and making funny faces at Bill to get him to smile his great big smile. Or after he played a big solo I'd give him the thumbs up or the "what the heck was that?"...

I had the good fortune to work with Bill as both a trumpet player in his section, and later as his conductor for musicals. While many people (for good reason, I might add) like to dwell on the stories and jokes he shared, and his out-going larger-than-life personality, one thing I'd like to relate is that Bill was a GREAT listener. He not only heard you, he understood your deeper meaning, and he empathized with whoever he was listening to.

I conducted Bill during his last show, San...

Dear Beverly and family,
I was so sad to hear of your loss. Bill was always such a happy, fun, lovable, huggable bear! He had a wonderful smile and was always so welcoming. He will certainly will be missed by all who knew him.

I always enjoyed Bill as one of the pit musicians at Broadway by the Bay. He was quick to smile took the time to get to know the people around him. He will be missed.

Having played in the pit with Bill for so many years (both Broadway By the Bay and SMHS) I will truly miss his sense of humor, terrific smile, incredible musicianship, and chats about the limo business! I was truly shocked to learn of his passing, having just played for "Westside Story" with him on Sunday. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Bev, and the rest of the family. There will always be a void in the trumpet section; he was a remarkable person. Sincerely, Judy Streger

Beverly,

We were so very sorry to hear about Bill. You have our love and deepest sympathy. Know, always, that we're here if you need anything. Our thoughts are with you.

My heartfelt condolences go out to you and the family. Bill was a great musician and we shared some fun times. I’ll never forget the Halloween party we went to. I dressed up in a tux and he went as a woman in a negligee. The looks we received as I drove to the party and he sat in the back seat of that big Pontiac Granville convertible were priceless. He had quite the sense of humor and enjoyed making others laugh. That was many years ago, but I am sure he kept that great spirit...
