He will always be remembered as an outstanding individual by those of us who knew him in those days. We shared some terrific adventures together.

I am sorry to hear of Bill's passing. My sincerest condolences to Donnie and family. I first met Bill in the San Fraancisco airport on September 27, 1963 on our way to the University of California in Davis, CA for Peace Corps training. We became immediate friends and have remained so. I've always valued his friendship.
