To: The McWilliams family:
I have only met Mr. McWilliams one time during Christmas of 2010. I met him with my fiance' Julianna McWilliams. He seemed like he was a comedian and historian during the same breath. We laughed, ate and he told many, many stories. He was my kind of man - hard working, family man, intelligent, very athletic, funny and loved life. He even gave me some candy that he had saved in his drawer before I left and that is how I know that he enjoyed life. ...

I would like to say that I have only met Mr. Mcwilliams one time on Christmas (with my finace' Julianna McWilliams). He is the only person that I have ever met that I considered a comedian and a historian. He also had a great system in place with the neighbor (who I can't remember her name but she was a saint). Toby, David & Vicky & Laura - You're in my prayers at this tough time. While I never knew Bill, to have raised sons who are such men of integrity says a lot about a father. Laura, I'm sorry you're going to be without your grandfather. Cherish the memories and remember this world is just a temporary stop in the big picture. You'll see him again some day.

Uncle Bill was only six years older than me and a prince of a fellow. He and Barbara let me stay with them overnight when I drove from Junction to see my high school girlfriend then living in Odessa. When I got in that night , or next morning, from the drive-in movie, Uncle Bill was in bed in the living room on the sofa bed that was prepared for me, AND he slept right there with me that night!!!! I'm sure he was concerned since I was only 18 years old walking with two canes from the polio...
