I have known Bill for more than 35 years. He was a great friend and mentor to me. When ever I was confused about mechanical engineering or associated comapny and / or industry standards and solutions Bill was always there to help me understand (1) the correct answer and / or (2) how we ended up with the situtation at hand. Over the last year I visited with him frequently and was always reassured that we would "get to the correct answer" sooner or later.
I will miss Bill very much.
