Dear Uncle Bill,
I never adequately thanked you for all you did for me, nor told you how much I loved you. From taking me fishing, flying kites and always including in activities with your family. It was an honor to serve as your apprentice Ironworker. You were always a constant, positive role model in my life. I miss you so much! Love Jimmy

I was never good at expressing love so I pray he knew how much he meant to me.
In the absence of a father figure, few men stepped up to fill that need. Uncle Bill was one of them. From fishing to the horrifying act of cleaning fish.
I'll never be half the man uncle Bill was, but maybe I'll start trying.
The world needs more of him. We lost a wonderful man and we were lucky to have had him.
