Bill Mutter

William "Bill" Mutter, 64, of Ft. Madison, passed away at 12:22 PM on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at his home. He was born on December 20, 1950 in Ft. Madison to Harry and Nell Byers Mutter. On August 27, 1977 he married Terri Losito in Dallas City, IL. Bill worked production at DuPont and retired in 2009 after thirty years of service. He served in the US Army from 1970-1974 and enjoyed auto body work, fishing and hunting. Survivors include his wife, Terri Mutter of Ft. Madison; a daughter, Traci (John Meyertholen) Wright of Ft. Madison; a son, Ryan (Dana) Mutter who is stationed in Okinawa, Japan with the US Airforce; eight grandchildren, Shelby and Brianna Wright, Amber, Ethan, Owen, Indigo, Uzziah and Yizreel Mutter of Okinawa, Japan; his father, Harry Mutter of Ft. Madison; a sister, Tara (Tuley) Elliott of Monroe City, MO and a brother, Jim (Deb) Mutter of Quincy, IL. He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents. Friends may call after 2 PM on Friday, October 2, 2015 at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory where the family will meet with friends from 5-7 PM.
