Not sure what to say?

Just saw him once live in concert, in a little club in Toulouse FRANCE on June 7th of 1999. If I remember it was a Chesterfield cafe tour. Exceptionnel concert, one of the greatest I ever seen. The crowd was absolutely in love with his guitar playing and voice, the set was really incredible everything was perfect. The encore was Voodoo Chile.... When I am on the road Bill's CD are often in my ears. I miss this guy so much. RIP my friend

I never knew Bill, but wish I had. I learned of him when I bought a Gibson acoustic guitar on line from a music store in Newberg, NY. The store said it used to belong to Bill. Great guitar, with a repaired hole in the side. Wish I knew the story. My thoughts and condolences to his friends and family.

Bill was one of the most talented guitar players ever. He was kind to let me sit in on Harp at Manny's Car Wash. He got better every year and I'll miss his riffs and him a lot.

I still have a little Fender amp Billy gave me over 30 years ago...and it still works perfect! I'll never part with it! Rock on Bro!
