William E. "Bill" Pittman, age 70, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2020 at his residence in Norwood, Ohio surrounded by family. 


Bill was born on May 28, 1949 in Faubush, KY to the late Denton and Grace Pitman.   Bill loved working on cars and going to cruise-ins, but more importantly, he loved spending time with his family and friends.


He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Sheila Beaty Pittman. He is also survived by his sisters, Marie Meece & Anna Lee Compton and brother, Jim Pitman. Bill is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.


Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Tucker and a brother, Gene Pitman.   


Visitation will be held at the Naegele, Kleb & Ihlendorf Funeral Home, 3900 Montgomery Rd, Norwood, OH 45212 on Sunday, January 12, 2020 from 3-5PM.


Visitation will be held again at the Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 West Hwy 80, Somerset, KY 42502 on Monday, January 13, 2020 from 11AM to 1PM with funeral immediately after. Burial will take place at Chesterview Cemetery in Nancy, KY.


In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Chesterview Cemetery Fund.
