Not sure what to say?

Bill Randle was the finest human being I ever met... so talented on so many levels, he was amazing !!! Still miss him !!! Alan Pryor

Bill was a major part of growing up in Cleveland. As students of Luther Memorial School and Lutheran High School, we used to go to the station after school and sit in the studio with him while he did his show. Along with Phil McLean, Big Wilson, and Joe Finan [whoops, a competitor :-)] he is a big part of Cleveland history and the real King of Rock n Roll. He may be gone to the Lord but will remain in the hearts of many of his fans!!

He was a good man. He prepared a health care power of attorney and a living will for us. He encouraged my talent.

Dear Ms. Randle,
Please accept my deepest sympathies on the passing of your father. He introduced me to great music and the "Big Show" became for me the soundtrack of Sundays. I know that his abilities and talents were many and his accomplishments profound. My wife and I had the great pleasure of meeting him once, and he was especially gracious.

Kindest regards,
Jeff Anderson

I have known Bill Randle since 1956 and it was through him that I met a lot of great stars. He was a true friend and I can't say enough on how great a friend he was, He will be greatly missed and never foregotten. God be with you in eternity Love Jim and Toni

My grandmother gave me a few of his cookbooks which I still use to this day!

What sad news to hear of Mr. Randles death. As a child of the fifties I listened to him before he left for NY. I even enjoyed him more when he came back to Cleveland. He opened my ears to music I might have never listened to. I was envious of his work ethic & to receive a law degree at age 64 is most remarkable. He should be admired by all for the fine role model he is. The city of Cleveland must certainly have a tear in its eye. I know I do. God bless you Bill

Bill Randle was much more than a radio DJ who helped launch some prominent careers. He was as educated a man as one is likely to find. It is stunning to learn that Bill dropped out of high school. However, in the early 1960s when he intially left radio, he went back to school to earn his diploma. He was nearing age 40. Before the decade was over, Bill earned his doctorate in American Studies. He earned several more master's degrees in later years, and finished his collegiate career by earning...

Cleveland's airwaves will never be the same. Although a child of the 60's, I grew up with the sounds of Sinatra and the big bands. What a treat to move to Cleveland and find Bill and WRMR! Patty, although I never had the opportunity to meet your father and only heard hints of his beliefs, I am sure that he and your mother are together, in the next world of their fondest dreams. My prayers are with you.
