Not sure what to say?

Bill had the best sense of humor , made us laugh all the time ☺ To watch him bowl or play football was poetry in motion. He was bowlegged, despite his large size, he was gracul in motion. Always think of him fondly ❤

Dear Mrs. Stanfill, I am so sorry for your loss, Bill was a great Football player but mostly a great Godly man and a great husband, God Bless, John W.

52 year old Patriot fan here, it is quite sad that the players from great early 70s miami teams have had such terrible health problems and are passing on.

I am sorry to hear that Bill passed. He and Vern Den Herder were my two favorite defensive players on those great Miami Dolphin teams. RIP Bill.

One of my heros from the Miami days...May God have mercy on his soul, and may he rest in peace.

My father grew up in Cairo and attended Cairo High before moving to Florida. I grew up a huge Miami Dolphins fan as a kid and my dad was so proud to be from the same high school as Bill Stanfill. He would bring it up every time we watched a game (which was every game they played) in the 70's. We were both very proud of the way Bill carried himself so humbly and dignified. Ironically my dad died at age 69 also (2003). My condolences from a old Cairo connection. God bless you all.

My deepest sympathy to his family. May Almighty God grant you peace. Jer.29:11

I would like to offer my sincere condolences to the Stanfill family. This passing surprises us because God has put eternity in our hearts (Ecc. 3:11). He will be with you as you cope with this loss. May Mrs. Stanfill as well as their children and grandchildren find comfort in warm hugs, kind words, hope-filled thoughts.

I knew Bill because my brother Bruce was a team mate of his at UGA. I followed his career in pro football and was very proud to call him a friend. I was very saddened to hear that he had passed away at such a young age. Please accept my condolences Stanfill family.
