Not sure what to say?

Cheryl, I just learned of Bill's passing yesterday from Judy Reed. I lived in Bakersfield many years and met Bill through our common passion for cycling. I haven't seen Bill in a long time as I moved out of Bakersfield in 2000 and am living in Virginia. Bill was a great friend and fun to be around. We spent many hours cycling together along with Dale, Paul, Marvis and Stan, Joanne and Wayne, Judy, Vickie, and many others. We also had some good times at your home before and after rides. ...

The service for Bill yesterday was very nice. Cliff wanted you to know, Cheryl, that he always counted Bill as one of his true friends. He wanted to talk to you yesterday but knew he would cry if he did. Bill was a very good man and will be missed by a lot of people.

I "met" Bill through his lovely and loving wife, Cheryl, who is one of my loyal FB friends. What a valiant fight Bill fought and I know he longed to stay on this side of life to share, care and love Cheryl and his family. But apparently Heaven needed Bill more...he may be gone from our sight...but never from our hearts!

I new Bill for a short time and he was sincere, dedicated, and didn't stand for malarkey. I respected the man. We sat and watched TV together not saying much but still sharing the space and time in a caring way. I remember I just had total knee replacement. I was sitting in the front seat of the SUV(so I could extend my leg fully)and you were in the back seat with Michele. Cheryl was driving. We just drove into our driveway when you discovered that you had lost your glasses and probably at...

Thinking of you Cheryl during this difficult time.

There has been a time change for Bill's services. They will begin at 11:30 am. Please help to pass along this correction.

Our prayers and love are with you.

Bill was a great guy who will always be remembered in our hearts and prayers!!! My "contemporary" buddy! He will be missed.

I wanted to offer my condolences and a comforting thought. John 3:16- For God loved the world so much that he gave his only begotten Son, in order that everyone exercising faith might not be destroyed but have everlasting life.
